allman-sprayers

The Company was founded by the late E.J. Allman in 1919, who in those days was a skilled craftsman with a flair for innovation and design.

During the 1920s, 30s and 40s the company was engaged in the distribution and maintenance of tractors and agricultural machinery, selling direct to farmers and distributing through a network of sub-dealers throughout Southern England.

In the 1940s the company became involved in the development and manufacture of fuel economizers for the Ford Tractor along with a range of steel row crop wheel equipment and pneumatic wheel conversions for tractors.

In the mid 1940s the company became involved in the development and manufacture of application equipment for Agrochemicals, working closely with the chemical industry, who at the time were introducing new chemicals for agriculture to boost food production. Subsequently Allman Sprayers were fully engaged in the quest to develop a complete range of spraying and dusting machinery in agriculture, horticulture and industry.

The family owned business continues to develop new products for the changing industry and market place.
